Welcome back! I too have done some H.O. trains. In all truth the H.O. track size is not all what the companies claim. I have found that most factory H.O. curves start at 15 inch radius or 30 inch curve. Then the H.O. curves go next up to 18 inch radius or 36 inch diameter curves.

Lionel has a track called 027 that has a 27 inch full circle size compared to H.O.'s 30 inch curves(15 inch radius). Even Lionel's O gauge track has a curve size of 31 inches.

I have got into Gargraves & Ross track and switches, and like the quality and size of Ross switches better then current Lionel switches. I use Gargraves track with Ross switches. The other plus side of Ross switches is that the Ross switch looks more realistic and has more turn-out options then the Lionel switches.

Yeah, I will have to agree.

The only O-Scale track I have ever used is Mth Realtrax. I have been looking at both Fastrack and Atlas O Track recently. Seems pretty nice.
