Hi Jeff. ROW made that model about 20 years ago if memory serves me correctly. They came out with a couple nice brass locomotives and a line of three rail cars in the mid 90's. Your model features an "all or nothing" smoke unit that will remain on the entire time there is power to the track. Yes it is a Suethe unit and is rated at a maximum of 16-18 volts so be careful if you run TMCC or DCS as it will burn out if there is no fluid in it or the track power exceeds recommended voltage. You can easily install an on/off switch on this if you desire but sadly, those old chimney type units were not the best when new and often needed replaced frequently due to the above mentioned conditions. They are fun though so enjoy!
