After reading the new Trains magazine articles on the death of circus trains, I started wondering how often I ever saw them. In the time I lived in my part of Florida, they only came less than a half dozen times through the area. I only ever saw the train there the one time.
Here in the Pacific Northwest, I could find data on when they'd been out here but it didn't seem like it'd been anytime recently since a circus had been here by train.
Now I know why I rarely ever saw a circus, as I hardly ever lived anywhere they came to!
