I was thinking of the frame without the truck wheels. Containers would go from rail to truck frame by sideloader.

RR would not be good for lots of stuff from say the Port of LA. But a simple frame for short quick fast big buck trains like the Reading Bee Line or SP Q trains might work might work for Wal-Mart, Amazon, USPS, UPS, FedEx.....

Short fast trains built like Lego blocks.

Just a dream....!
