One thought I had that didn't die of loneliness is the closure rails that form the two isolated triangles off the diamond. Those probably need to be tied to common as some MTH 3-2 steam locomotives could lose the common connection while traversing the section (one side of the locomotive is grounded and one side of the tender is grounded).
