Reply to "Royal Hudson 2839"

Bobby,

I can't speak to the whereabouts of this particular engine, but in the summer of 2000 I was lucky enough to looking out my office window (overlooking the Rutherford, PA NS yard) when a special train passed by.  Just after the locomotive, there were three flat cars.  On the first was a locomotive, the second carried a tender, and the third had a coach.  I found out after the fact that they were a CP Royal Hudson headed to the West Coast to become part of a static display.

Maybe that was the engine in question.
