I don't pay any attention to electronics so don't understand it, except beyond my

hoping it doesn't foul up my running conventionally, and so haven't even read about

it closely in the HO mag I also get. But don't many HO locos come with a plug, where you can put in electronics from several sources, and it is all compatible? The O

stuff sounds like you need to be a "build your own computer" type, to be able to upgrade and keep stuff running. Too bad that universal compatibility did not exist for Yoder. Curiously, has anybody swapped Lionel electronics into an MTH loco, so

you had one system and could run all your roster on that one, or the reverse? Is

there some change-in board to do that?
