Your #990 does it all.
For larger locomotives, consider Lionel's LC + 2.0 versions. Although they do not come with all Legacy features, they are "close" to scale in size and will run down to O-31 curves.

Wouldn’t these LC2+ units require the LC App or LC controller vs the 990 system?
