Rainy days for 2926 are no more - and it's time to turn on the heat! With the derailment behind us, preparations for Steam Up are underway. The boiler will be lit on Monday for the first time in over six decades. This will be a static display (pistons and valves out) and open to the public, crew, and media on Wednesday (8/22) from 7:30 AM to 3 PM. For local coverage, watch KOB (channel 4) for live broadcasts throughout the morning hours. It's finally happening - a new experience, new history, and the magic of big steam!
