You shouldn't have to spend more money to fix something that you bought new. But you should order a couple of replacement trucks from the Lionel parts dep't. Keep the best and send the worst ones back for credit. When they're left with a warehouse full of broken trucks, then maybe they'll start doing quality control inspections!
