Pete, the way you have incorporated your post war accessories into a very detailed layout is very cool. Of course, Super O track is IMHO in a different class when it comes to post war. I see in the last shot the beginning of a 456 Coal Ramp, do you have a shot of it in full view?

Thanks!  Yeah, my layout is really "about" trying to create a great setting for accessories, in the spirit of the postwar Lionel showroom layouts. The layout has every accessory in the 1957 catalog (except for the silly plastic tunnel) and also my favorites from other years. I try hard to avoid the "long rows of accessories" look that you sometimes see.  (BTW: I have a rule of NEVER modifying an accessory in a non-reversible way--part of the challenge).
