Yes, it is a dairy cattle tunnel. It is not without precedent. I saw something very similar in a magazine many years ago.

On the back road from my house there is exactly that though it is a road not the railroad. The most interesting thing to have happen a couple of years after I started driving was Me. Everett's cows pulling Houdini acts of escape on him. Many a morning I would pop over to his house and tell him he had an escapee. Great tunnel, very nice pics, can't wait to see more.
