Seams in insulation board!

Excited, have benchwork up for my first layout other than Christmas. The top is half inch plywood covered with one inch insulation board. Is there a way to cover the seams in the board or do I just not worry about it? No gaps, just seams. Thought I would ask before I paint it flat medium brown! Thanks for any responses!
