I just got the search engine (here on the Forum) to finds this thread and I intentionally did not capitalize "Search" and added some stray spaces and got this to thread to come up. (I searched on "search engine pits")
It might help if you say what you are looking for. Maybe the thread got zapped and really doesn't exist anymore.

I totally agree. Look at a recent topic. It is simply titled "E6" Put that in the exact search. You will get a bunch of things, but not "E6". Go figure.
One benefit to this forum is the ability to fix things. Enter a phrase or wording, and it is really a crap shoot. One bright side is the information you learn as you parse through the matters that are not relevant.
How else would I find out that Gunrunner John actually landed on the moon the day before Armstrong. Without John, we would not have known the chuffs were out of sync on the Lunar Module.
