Atlas can be cut with a 32 tooth per inch hacksaw blade. Fine/finish adjustment with a bench grinder. Another cut method/tool would be a Dremel with a large abrasive cut off blade. Custom cuts were used on my layout.

Safety meeting of the day. Any cutting/grinding, eye protection is a must.
