Unless the tender is stamped 390X on its base it was designed to haul 500 series freights and equivalent passenger cars.

Your cars are 200 series. They will work fine with this engine although 500 series cars would be the appropriate freight cars. There is a rare version of the tender that has 200 series trucks on the tender to match 200 series cars. Your engine has 500 series trucks.
