Should an MTH GP35 PS-2 MU with a Railking GP9?

They seem to go somewhat OK. I say "somewhat" because I have been losing tires off the Railking. For a follow-up question, are Railking tires and the Premier Hi-Rail tires the same size?? They seem to be. I have about 10 sets of Hi-rail tires but am out of new ones for the Railking.
