My beautiful Texas Santa Fe station will be going into storage.  The area where the station was is the location for my new Army RR yard (circa 1040's).  I will be replacing the Temple, TX station with another custom built station modeled after an Army base station located at Jefferson Barracks near St. Louis, Missouri.  I will have this station on my main line and a smaller freight station in the adjoining yard.  My new Army base will be named after my childhood hero........Camp Crockett.

I decided to go with a more rustic Army camp station with adobe walls and a center second story wood control tower to blend into my Western Texas desert scenes.  My "Camp Crockett" WW11 Army camp is in final stages of construction.
