HUDSON J1E a Nickey Camaro was like a Yenko or Baldwin Motion where the dealer installed a 427 engine. Nickey Chevrolet was a dealer in Chicago that built extreme muscle cars per customer request. Nickey would take a SS350 Camaro and install a 427 usually 425 HP. My car was a 427 L88 12.5 to1 compression with a Muncie M22 4 speed and a 5:13 12 bolt service package rear end. i had Larry Buetleman the engine builder for the Chi Town Hustler funny car build the aluminum heads. it conservatively got 3.5MPG with the 1050cfm Holley 3 barrel carb. still have the car with 31000 miles mostly in 1/4 increments. hope that answers your question.

Yes, that does. Thank you very much for the in depth explanation. Sounds like an incredible car and very valuable too. Good luck with it.

Sorry didn't mean to take the thread off topic.
