Always run it with the blue tooth switch off. I also lash it up with my BNSF 6411 ES44 which came from the previous catalog (that is blue toothed equipped as well) That locomotive does not suffer from this false start issue
So far, this false start problem seems to occur exclusively with my MTH DCS handheld. I have not seen this problem while using my CAB-1 remote which I rarely use.
