Virtually any locomotive of any brand will require some disassembly to access the smoke unit for a wick change. A handful of diesels did have more readily accessible smoke units, but that trend is gone and buried for new stuff.
Like Rick said, fifteen minutes is a decent run for smoke, you really can't expect longer runtimes.
