Smoke upgrade gp9

Hi everyone, I currently have the NYC gp9 #2380 which I've upgraded with electrocoulper's. What do I need to do to install smoke also? While I was in there it appears there's no room. In my search it appears to me that the legacy,having 2 can motors,is more space friendly. Can anyone shed some light or has been successful with doing it? Thanks, and keep the rails polished .
