I just took a look at mine. It appears that hoopla sets your time zone based on your zip code. I just changed mine, for a moment, to a zip a long way away, and my time zone changed accordingly.

Make sure yours is set right.

Also, mine has never had the error you're showing on MAC or PC, using Safari and mostly Firefox on MAC, Firefox on personal PC, and the dreaded IE on work PC.

Double check the (gmt -xxx) settings on your computers as well.
