The prompt to update your time zone is built-in to Hoop.la to allow users to automatically change their time zone when they travel. The prompt is given any time the user's time zone, as detected in their web browser, is different than the current time zone set in their preferences. When users are presented with the prompt, they should simply choose to update their time zone to the new time zone or else just ignore it by closing the prompt.
As some of your members noted, it's tied to your browser setting, so if you've logged in remotely so that it looks like you're coming from a distant location, it will "trick" Hoop.la into thinking you're actually in Switzerland (or wherever).
Your members can always check their current time zone at any time under Personal Settings, as well.
