Still confused, the MTH 30-1166-0 is a 4-8-2 L-3 Mohawk Steam Engine w/Loco-Sound, not PS/2. This is a conventional locomotive, not a command locomotive.

The MTH 30-1166-1 is, however, a PS/2 Mohawk, is that what you have?

Are you looking for the PS/2 board set, as that is where the sound is generated. Why are you looking for this? If just the sound has failed, it may be something that can be repaired, speaker, audio amp on the PS/2 board, etc.
