30-20158-1 from 2013. Today when running this engine the sound quit. It came back on, but was filled with static. The horn worked, so the speaker appears to be good. I tested the sound pot with an ohm meter and it shows an up and down range, so I assume that the pot is good. I checked for loose connections. Overall volume is much lower than normal and can't be raised with pot or remote. The static drowns out all prime mover sounds. Am I looking at a failure in a board component? What are my options for repair?
