Larry why was the check letter not added at the museum?

An added thought.  I have mixed emotions about adding the check letter.  I wanted this 2601 to reflect the 2601 at/from the museum.  Intended to run in a contemporary situations with 2601 out and about as the NS OCS and/or 611 run by etc.

Ron

No Ron, the check letter was never added by the NCTM volunteers. The contemporary 2601 without the check letter is good for anytime after 1995, when it was painted at Chattanooga. I heard street price for these is around $460, but I think I may have to be content with my Atlas Southern SD-35 and GP-35 models, even if they have older electronics.
