Although I am not currently running trains I decided to order the MTH Crescent Limited RPO "mail car" that Ron highlighted in an earlier post, to fill out my MTH Crescent consist to 8 cars long, 9 plus the REA Crescent Limited Reefer by K Line. When the 9 cars are coupled to Ps4 #1396 the consist will approach 8' long which will occupy a bunch of my layout. The 9 car consist coupled behind Ps-4 #1396 will appear ridiculous on my little 9x16 layout but I have to run it some for old times sake ( & a few photos). Typically I run "short consists slowly".....4 passenger cars and about 7 freight including caboose.
