Sinclair.  To avoid getting caught up in using the correct vernacular, I think what you want are various versions of intermodal cars.  I would suggest going to Ebay, into the O Gauge train section and perform separate searches on "Intermodal", "Husky", "Spine", and "Container".  You'll get lots of returns and from there  you will be able to find what you're looking for.  You may want to take notice of the rolling stock being scale-sized or traditional-sized.  With the exception of MTH's RailKing models, their Husky and Spine cars are scale-size.  For Lionel, I know only that their Husky stacks are scale-sized.  I believe all of the Atlas are scale-size.   If you decide to purchase, intermodal cars come up occasionally on the For Sale board here.    Hope this helps.
