The JAD Hiawatha is a beauty for sure.  My Dad and I visited the home of the late Bob Hornish back in the 70's, and he had an amazing layout complete with T-Rail track and wide-radius Standard Gauge track that he made using O-72 rails and Standard-Gauge ties. This was before anyone was producing wide-radius SG track for profit. The one train I always remembered from that visit was his Standard Gauge Hiawatha, and had never seen another one since then.  Fast-forward to 2004, when I looked for him at York and introduced myself to him. I asked him if he still had the Hiawatha; he then said the magic words: "Yes, and it's for sale if you want to buy it." We worked out a deal, made the exchange at the next York meet, and I now own the same JAD Hiawatha that caught my attention when I was a kid.

Here it is after LEDs were added to the loco and cars.
