Reply to "Standard gauge Hiawatha freight set."

I would like to note that in addition to the original three JAD partners, others were involved in the manufacture of JAD cars including Dick Mayer.  If you look closely on the top shelf, you can see some unpainted JAD Hiawatha cars in Dick's workshop, which unfortunately was burned to the ground a few years ago.

And I should note that much to the displeasure of the original partners, Dick continued to produce and sell JAD cars without the partners permission.  In fact, as an avid Milwaukee Road collector and a long time RichArt customer, Dick sold me one (or possibly two of these "aftermarket" JAD Hiawatha cars.  I didn't know that he was selling them on the side.
