The SGMA will be applying for space at both the August Dulles/Chantilly show and at the October Timonium show. There was no real opportunity for a worthwhile display at “York” unfortunately. The “Midwest” SGMA group is planning to participate in Trainfest in November. I’m meeting with the Director of Winterthur Museum (Delaware) this coming Tuesday to discuss a holiday season show there, and my brother Chuck has made an agreement with the Eau Claire Wisconsin public library to show a large SGMA layout in their new community room during the holidays.

Lots of opportunities to “play trains” this year! I hope we will see you at one or more of these events.
