Is the Menard's the higher, heavier "standard" O? That's the problem I'm running into - sellers keep saying "standard O gauge" and it's actually the thinner O-27 stuff. I'm running big MTH Premier steam trains and the floppy O-27 just can't handle it and doesn't mate with the O-72 curve pieces. Is real standard O-gauge tubular actually going for $5+ a piece now?
