While the D-148 didn't have a control panel, I'm including one on this layout rather than mount the controls directly to the board. It's plywood and 1x4, with the screwheads filled and the corners radius es a bit. Painted "Harrisburg green" which is supposed to be a match to the paint on the later postwar layouts.
