Steel Studs Bench Work question

Milwaukee Road RobOGR Forum Member

Is steel stud built bench work as good, as tradition 3/4" plywood framing with 1/2" surface plywood with 1/2" homasote on the surface . If anyone has used steel, I want to know about the noise level compared to wood built. Looking for some input.
