A very common issue with the impeller. MTH has dynamic braking to stop the fan quickly for better definition of the chuffs, that puts more of a load on the friction fit impeller. I try to keep a few impellers in stock for this issue. If you don't have a spare impeller, a drop of CA adhesive is at least a temporary cure.
