No worries, Jonathan… just tell her you purchased a new storage shed for ALL your trains

But seriously, I read that The 7 Line Army (a group of fanatic NY Mets fans who always occupy the Big Apple reserved section at City Field for all home games) were looking into purchasing it and moving it out to the ballpark!!! Since the actual 7 Line (aka the Flushing Line) goes right pass the park, maybe they could get the MTA to move the car for them

Only problem with that is that the car isn't anywhere near anyplace it could access the MTA's trackage. That and this car likely has no relation to the 7 line. As an R33, it likely spent most of it's time on other A division routes. In the pictures it's displayed as a Lexington Ave. Local train. Article's also wrong, it's not the last of the Redbirds. Many others still exist, 3 of which (in redbird paint, there are more that have been repainted in earlier paint schemes) are still in operating conditions and are operated by the NYC Transit Museum.
