Subway system for sale.......I purchased this Subway from my neighbor who worked for Lionel in the early 1950s. If you are interested in hearing his story go to the Notch 6 podcast episode #107 titled "The Lionel Employee in the Neighborhood". I have 6 sections of subway that are detailed with depots and other subway surroundings. The track and switches used are Gargraves and Tortoise switch controllers are also included. The subway was cut into 6 sections for removal and are 7 to 9 feet long each....... For a total length of 45 feet. Each section is numbered and fit together to form 2 separate sections 18 feet long and 27 feet long. The 6 sections weigh about 200 pounds each. These are highly detailed and display a very high level of workmanship. If you want a subway system for you layout you will not find any better. I am asking $1000 or best offer.
