If your engine is in fact 6-28855 then it uses a Liondrive motor like the one on the right, not a motor with a gear on it.
If on the other hand you need a motor with a gear on it then you need to get another motor with dual shafts. Removing the gear requires a special puller and usually involves destroying the motor its removed from.

Well, that is odd, because that is the engine I am working with, but the defective motor that I pulled has the gear attached to it
