Gregg, you can do the quote with all the pictures, then just select them and hit DEL, they go away. If I want to include one or two pictures, I frequently do that.

I frequently edit the quotes to just include the part I'm responding to, many times it's a fraction of the full message. Also, don't forget the <> icon above to fix any mangled quotes or messages pasting from other sources.
