Reply to "Sunday Scenic Showcase April 5,2020"

Continued working on the peninsula scenery this past week.  The second step after applying the scenery base was to break up the smooth top of the hillside.  I hot glued small foam chunks to the top edge that will give a more natural back ground appearance once trees are installed:

I then began to install trees over the next few days.  Altogether, I refurbished over 400 that I had left over from my previous O gauge hi-rail layout.  Two in process photos:

This is what the peninsula looks like with the trees installed:  The next step is to clean up all the installation "damage" and move into the more detailed scenicking steps:
