Im hardly an expert. i tried to build my own bemf circuit and motor controller (like maybe 25% non-fail) -- one of things I read too is the start up current can be very high on this motors -- doesn't last long but it can be really high. So it's all rather nebulous to me at least -- as to what is really needed to make the bigger engines go without issue. I'm sure this board will work for many applications though.
