Super chuffer and PS1 era Y6b

I have a super chuffer and chuff generator on order for the Y6b. Just want to confirm its a direct hookup. Im using an ERR DC commander as the speed control.

If its not, then please let me know what needs done to make the PS1 fan driven unit work with the super chuffer.

I'm also confused by the led no load resistor statement, are you saying to connect the leds to the CC and SC with no load resistor?
