Super Elevating Track

Hello everyone,

Lots of people have asked me how I super elevated my track for my model railroad, so here is how I did it:

  1. Laid track and talked it down 50% of the way
  2. lifted track up slightly
  3. put toothpicks underneath the ties (the further in they are, the higher the elevation, and vise versa)
  4. pushed the track down over the toothpick
  5. nailed the track in 100% of the way
  6. balasted the track

This is an awesome and cheap way to add some special effects to your trackwork!
