Thanks for this info and photos as I'm rapidly approaching decision time for the obs car lighting of my NP NCL train, @HarborBelt52 and @TedW.

Has anyone "painted" the clear plastic lens LIONEL uses to replicate the prototype's red lens? If so, shat did you use?
