Neat little critter Mr. Z. The LIRR had several almost as small at their Morris Park Facility in Richmond Hill. (pix here).

I followed the link and I see what you mean there Bob. I have a model of one of the Morris Park engine house goats. It fits in pretty well with the boxcab. I pulled it out for a double header.

@coach joe I somehow missed your question. My reply (besides you are going the wrong way 😉) is it should be easy with some rewiring and a slider pickup. The wheels are isolated on each side so running those pickup wire together and one to the slider and you should be good to go. The wheel treads will be narrower than 3 rail wheels but they are in gauge. Easier than 2 railing a 3 three rail engine.
