Yay SWSat!

The dog ate my homework.

I am posting pics this week of the 0-6-0 Tank switchers of the E. J. Lavino company. They had plant sites in Pennsylvania, Virginia and California. Interestingly there are preserved tank switchers in all of those states ( although the particular engines are not necessarily the engines that worked in those states).  I have seen all three of the preserved engines in the various museum locations. I always liked the looks of these with thier big circle L. Like Lavern and Shirley.

The 2 spot unfortunately was not preserved but it looks meet so I'm including it.

The #3 lives in Steamtown, Scranton PA.

#10 made the trip out west to the Pacific Southwest RR Museum in Campo CA.

True blue number 34 is living near the glamor queen NW #611 at the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke VA.
