It is Saturday morning, December 2, 1949, and the little 44 tonner is moving a R50 reefer to classification track 3 where the morning express train is being put together. The engineer has been operating "the Baby" for two months now and is happy with its dependability and ease of operation, but concerned about its performance moving heavy consists. He does miss his B6sb.
