Some very nice photos of handsome trains posted again this week. On my layout, the sun has never set on the Southern Pacific Railroad. San Francisco painted lady No. 1277 was used by Espee to assemble the Coast Daylight and other passenger trains. On my Russian River Rapids Shortline Railroad, though, she pulls excursion trains to the delight of rail fans.
