Yay! SWSat is rolling out!
This week I am posting some pictures I took Yesterday in North Creek NY of the crew packing up to ship out the diesels of the Saratoga and North Creek RR which has given up the ghost and stopped operation this April. It is the one chance I have ever seen two BL2s coupled together and I am sad to see them go.
Here are a few things I found at the South Street Seaport Museum last Sunday. This little Railroad Ferry was used by the Erie RR to take immigrants from Ellis Islands Predecessor Castle Gardens (today known as the Battery) to the Railroad and on to inland destinations I thought the German lettering on the ends was interesting This is all that is left of a water switcher I mean Tugboat. New York Central #31
Here are a few pics I grabbed Yesterday on the train in Crotan-Harmon
These guys are putting in a new signaling system.
I thought this picture was funny with the convex mirrors
Have a great Weekend.
